The Discharge Filter Is Of The Water Absorption Cartridge Type. This Filter Is An Important Guarantee For The Protection Of Engines That Use Diesel Fuel Supplied By The Station. Characteristic Of Such Filter Types Is That Of Separating And Absorbing Any Water Present In The Pumped Diesel Fuel. However, Water Absorption Causes A Progressive Reduction Of The Filtering Capacity And Consequently A Gradual Increase In The General Load Losses From The Filter. The Clogged Water Filter Must Be Replaced.
