Extended Information Notice for Customers and Suppliers

 

This information notice is prepared and issued in accordance with Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to simply as the European Regulation), which has introduced significant legislative innovations.

That being said, it is noted that:
1) As a result of establishing a business relationship and in the course of its development, our company will collect and process personal data;
2) For clarity, we specify the following definitions given by the aforementioned European Regulation:
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that person;
Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment, or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
 
According to Article 13 of the European Regulation 2016/679, therefore,
we inform you that
the collection and processing of your personal data will be carried out by the undersigned company in accordance with the following:
 
a) Purposes: the data will be processed for the proper execution of accounting, tax, commercial, technical obligations, and all business activities inherent in the existing relationship;
b) Advertising purposes: with your explicit and specific consent, your data may also be used to send advertising material/communications via postal mail, email, telephone, fax, SMS, and similar means; however, once you have given your consent, you have the right to object to the processing of your data for this purpose at any time and at no cost;
c) Methods: the data will be processed using both paper and electronic/computer/telematic tools, in full compliance with the law, in accordance with principles of lawfulness and fairness, and in a way that protects your confidentiality;
d) Voluntary provision: providing data is optional and not mandatory;
e) Consequences of potential refusal: refusal to provide data or complete opposition to their processing may still result in the impossibility of continuing any commercial or other type of relationship with our company; refusal to use the data for sending advertising material/communications, however, will not have any consequences on present or future relationships;

i) Rights of the data subject: you have all the rights provided by the European Regulation, such as the right to request access to personal data and its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, the right to object to its processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority;
j) Transfers to third countries: any transfer of personal data to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organization will be based on a decision of adequacy by the Commission or, in the case of transfers under Articles 46, 47, or 49, paragraph 2, of the European Regulation, based on appropriate and suitable safeguards;
k) Data retention period: data will be kept for the period strictly necessary to fulfill the data subject's requests or as required by current regulations or any contractual clauses;
l) Data Controller: the data controller is SABART S.r.l. - Sole Shareholder, headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Via Zoboli no. 18, represented by the legal representative pro tempore;
m) Data Protection Officer (DPO): the company has appointed a Data Protection Officer in accordance with Article 37 of the GDPR, who can be contacted for information requests or clarifications at the email addressdpo@sabart.it
